Do I need a prescription for a blood test in Zurich?
No. At Labology you can book any check-up directly, without a GP referral or prescription. This applies to every panel including the Full Body Scan, Nutrition & Wellness packages and the Allergies Check-up.
How quickly will I receive my results?
Most results are available within 2 to 3 business days on the Kiro platform. Allergy panels take up to 5 business days. The microbiome analysis (Digest Check-up) takes up to 15 days from sample receipt. You'll receive an email as soon as they're ready.
Is the Zurich clinic open on Saturdays?
Yes, from 9:00 to 11:00. Saturday slots fill up quickly — we recommend booking online at least a few days in advance.
Do I need to fast before my blood draw?
Fasting for 8 hours is required when your check-up includes cholesterol, triglycerides or glucose. Water is always permitted. Vitamin, thyroid, hormone and allergy panels do not require fasting. Your confirmation email will specify.
Can I come without an appointment?
We work primarily by appointment to keep waiting times minimal. Walk-ins are welcome when slots are available, but we recommend booking online — especially on Saturdays.
